Parker is beginning to remind me of a smaller version of Dave Mackay... absolutely dogs bollocks of a performance tonight. He was everywhere and took so much punishment but never gave up or stopped running and tackling.... bloody immense respect for that showing. A real Captains performance....

However....... our f88king attacking play at the moment without Bale being on fire is shocking. We have to get lennon fit again asap and play Bale wide on the left, Lennon wide on the right hand VDV off the front man with Modric just behind..

also our free kicks and corners are sooooooooo poor and wtf is going on with our throw ins... I have never seen a team throw the ball directly to the opposition players so many times.....

Suarez is a dirty little b*****d and that was a deliberate kick on Parker should have gone for that for dangerous play and a for Skirtles what an absolute c**T that guy is... did you see him go studs up on Friedal just after he had tried to snap Bales leg.... f88king disgusting

this is actually funny. It made many of laugh out loud on numerous occasions. It surely does make a man wonder what goes through a footballers head.

Parker played well, and now... i could be wrong, but did he asked to be subbed..... but we said no, no matter what , we have the shittest bench this famous club has ever produced, so depsite us starting with TWO defensive midfielders... we can not sub one of you at 91 mins even when you beg... as i say could be wrong.

Parker has been off the boil a little of late by his own high standards, but he was back to his best last night.

He was simply outstanding.

Super Scottie Parker!

Never imagined in a million years I'd be saying that! (scoffed copious amounts of humble pie weeks ago )

A tremendous midfield general performance, and although some say Modric had an off game last night, these 2 at the heart of midfield were making some lovely passing moves to each other all game, nice intricate stuff to keep possession (albeit limited) Evident that Modric & Parker are completely on the same page & compliment each other so well.

Parker was superb. King and Dawson played well , we defended superbly all night.

Just a shame Bale never scored , but iwould have taken a point b4 kick off.

Looking at the Bale chance I am surprised he did not take the ball to his left which would have given Reina a problem and change the angles. He seemed to take the shot on too soon when his angles were closed down.

Still decisions are made in split seconds on the football field and hopefully he will learn from that situation.

I never said he was crap so I don't need to hang my head in shame.

I actually defended him when people said all he did was pass the ball 5 yards, though I said he was a good player not a great one which is probably still accurate.

Ok..we'll let you off if 3 posters agree you liked him before you signed him and thought he would be a good addition to your first 11.

As ever I took the stance (much scorned on here) that I would see how he played in a Spurs shirt before coming to judgement.

But did you want to sign him? did you think he would take you to the next level as he so patently has?
